Summary
- Synchrony served every page on the first request, from the homepage through the pricing PDF to the application page.
- An automated reader confirmed the APR figures, 17.49%, 26.49%, and 33.24%, on the card page, the application page, and the pricing PDF.
- Giving the Premier World Mastercard its own page with a direct pricing link would remove two hops through a mailing address form.
Task by task
Each task is scored out of 100 on completion, answer quality and how directly the answer was reached. Each note describes what the page delivered, with a link to the page the answer was found on.
Task 01Purchase APRServed as text92 out of 100
Reading the Mastercards page, an automated reader found the purchase APR stated as plain text for new accounts: a variable rate of 17.49%, 26.49%, or 33.24%, repeated word for word on the application page.
Task 02Card comparisonServed as text88 out of 100
The Mastercards page lays out three tiers in served text: Premier World earns 2% cash back and is open to direct applicants, Plus World earns 1% and is by invitation, and Preferred serves as a credit-building option.
Task 03Pricing and termsServed as PDF88 out of 100
Following a path through a cardholder agreements page to a separate public terms directory, an automated reader found a PDF with a labeled rates and fees table covering purchase, balance transfer, cash advance, and penalty APRs.
Task 04Welcome offerServed as text78 out of 100
Searching the product page, the application page, and the pricing PDF for welcome-offer language, an automated reader found zero mentions of a bonus, since the card markets unlimited 2% cash back from the first purchase instead.
Task 05Application pagePartly served55 out of 100
The application URL served a real form field ahead of any script: labeled boxes for SSN or ITIN, the last four digits of SSN, and a mobile number, inside a page that then asks for JavaScript to continue.
Synchrony Premier World Mastercard earns 2% cash back on every purchase and is open to direct applicants.

What is working
- Every page in the route, from the homepage to the application application page to a PDF rates disclosure, was delivered on the first attempt with no blocks, no challenge screens, and no need for a fallback user agent.
- The APR figures and cash-back rates are stated identically across three independent pages (product page, application application page, and pricing PDF), which is a strong signal of a well-governed content pipeline rather than stale or conflicting copy.
- A dedicated, quarterly-updated public terms directory (synchronybankterms.com) lists pricing PDFs for dozens of card programs by name, a genuinely agent-friendly piece of infrastructure once an agent finds it.
- The application application page discloses its SSN and mobile-phone requirements in plain delivered text before any script executes, rather than hiding them behind a JavaScript-rendered form.
Opportunities
- Publish a dedicated /llms.txt manifest. Today an agent following the standard convention gets the site's normal 404 page at 114KB, which wastes a fetch and gives no signal that structured card data exists elsewhere on the site.
- Give the flagship Premier World Mastercard its own product URL with a direct Schumer box link. Today an agent must pass through a mailing-address request form (cardholder-agreements) before discovering the real public terms directory at a separate domain, synchronybankterms.com, adding two extra hops to reach pricing.
- Render the card catalog onthe application path in the delivered HTML instead of behind a client-side filter. The static response currently shows the literal placeholder text 'No results found matching your selection(s)' where the card list should appear, so an agent reading only HTML sees an empty catalog even though rich card data exists one click away on the mastercards page.
- State the welcome-offer position explicitly on the product page itself. The absence of bonus language is consistent and appears deliberate, but a single explicit sentence such as 'this card has no welcome bonus; rewards start with your first purchase' would remove any ambiguity for an automated reader.
Access
Every page the agent requested was delivered on the first attempt. Publishing an llms.txt file would give agent traffic a documented entry point.
