Summary
- Chime's help center answers plain requests and guides an agent from the homepage to specific card articles within a few hops.
- An agent read a plain statement that the Chime Card carries no interest, no annual fees, and no credit check to apply.
- Publishing the named card agreements on a reachable page would let an automated reader retrieve the same rate detail a member sees.

Task by task
Each task is scored out of 100 on completion, answer quality and how directly the answer was reached. Each note describes what the page delivered, with a link to the page the answer was found on.
Task 01Purchase APRServed as text88 out of 100
A help center article states the Chime Card has no interest, no annual fees, and no credit check to apply, with only out-of-network ATM and cash-advance fees noted in a footnote.
Task 02Card comparisonServed as text87 out of 100
Chime names the mapping directly: the Chime Card, its current secured card, replaces the older Credit Builder Card, and unlike Credit Builder it adds 2% or 5% cash back on a chosen monthly category.
Task 03Pricing and termsPartly served45 out of 100
The help center names three underlying agreements, the Chime Credit Builder Visa Agreement, the Chime Credit Card Agreement, and the Cash Rewards Program Addendum, hosted on pages that sit behind the same screen as the main site.
Task 04Welcome offerArrives after scripts25 out of 100
A site search for welcome-offer language returns a page shell whose results load through client script, and the reachable help center content centers on card mechanics rather than a promotional bonus.
Task 05Application pageAutomated reader declined15 out of 100
Chime documents the credit card application as an in-app step reached through account settings; the nearest web page, member.chime.com, answers a plain request with a Cloudflare challenge asking for JavaScript and cookies.
The Chime Card carries no interest, no annual fees, and no credit check to apply.

Strengths and opportunities
What is working
- help.chime.com is fully open to a plain, unauthenticated GET and its Explore Products directory takes a customer cleanly from product family to specific card mechanics in three or four hops of clean semantic HTML.
- Chime states its core cost facts as plain declarative sentences rather than a buried rate table, so 'no interest, no annual fees' lands in a single readable paragraph that answers the APR job outright.
- The Chime Card vs. Credit Builder article is purpose-written to map the current secured card against its predecessor, with footnoted eligibility thresholds for the cash back tiers, which is exactly the comparison job an agent needs.
Opportunities
- Publish the three named rate agreements (Chime Credit Builder Visa Credit Card Agreement, Chime Credit Card Agreement, Cash Rewards Program Addendum) somewhere reachable outside the Cloudflare-blocked zone, so an automated reader can retrieve the same Schumer-box detail a member sees in the app.
- Extend the bot-management allowlist, or publish a real llms.txt, so www.chime.com's marketing and application pages return content to automated readers the way help.chime.com already does.
- State a clear welcome-offer position for the credit card, current promotion or a plain 'no welcome offer on this card' line, on a page reachable outside the app, since today that answer is unreachable rather than answered.
Access
The edge policy declined the automated reader on some paths, and that response is recorded as delivered. Publishing an llms.txt file would give agent traffic a documented entry point.
