Task by task

Each task is scored out of 100 on completion, answer quality and how directly the answer was reached. Each note describes what the page delivered, with a link to the page the answer was found on.

Task 01Savings rateServed as text93 out of 100

A help center article states that Chime Prime members earn 3.75% APY on savings, Plus members earn 2.75%, and base members earn 0.75%, explaining that interest is added to the balance every day.

Task 02Checking comparisonPartly served82 out of 100

Chime sells one checking account reached through three membership tiers rather than two separate products, and the help center states that all three carry no fee, differing instead in overdraft limits, cash back, and savings rate.

Task 03Fee schedulePartly served65 out of 100

A fee philosophy article states plainly that the checking account carries no minimum balance, no fee, and no overdraft charge, then names two remaining charges, a cash withdrawal fee and an instant transfer fee, in exact figures.

Task 04Routing numberArrives after scripts15 out of 100

A help article on the exact topic of finding account and routing numbers explains that both appear inside the mobile app or after logging in on the website, with no digits printed on the article itself.

Task 05Application pagePartly served24 out of 100

The signup page shows a three-step progress label, Basic Info, Verification, and You're In, along with real first name, last name, and email fields, though it stops short of naming SSN or ID requirements on this first screen.

Chime Prime members earn 3.75% APY on savings, Chime Plus members earn 2.75%, and Chime members earn 0.75%.

Strengths and opportunities

What is working

  • Chime publishes its full tiered savings APY (Chime, Chime Plus, Chime Prime) as plain readable text on its help center, along with how the variable rate is set and that interest is added daily.
  • The fee philosophy page states plainly, in text, that the checking account carries no monthly fee, no minimum balance, and no overdraft fee, and names its two remaining charges in exact dollars and percent.
  • The account-opening application page is a real, readable HTML form with three named visible steps and genuine input fields, not a blank or script-only canvas.
  • The help.chime.com and member.chime.com subdomains stayed fully open to a plain agent fetch even while the main marketing domain did not, showing the account information itself was not hidden by design.

Opportunities

  • Publish the routing number on a public page, the way many banks list it on an open FAQ, instead of gating it entirely behind app or account login.
  • Let www.chime.com serve its marketing, product, and legal pages to a plain browser-style agent instead of returning the same Cloudflare block page across the whole apex domain, including robots.txt and llms.txt.
  • Publish one consolidated fee schedule, covering checking and savings together, rather than leaving readers to piece it together from a single FAQ article.
  • Name the identity verification requirements, such as SSN and government ID, directly on the signup application page rather than only implying them through a 'Verification' step label.

Access

Every page the agent requested was delivered on the first attempt. Publishing an llms.txt file would give agent traffic a documented entry point.
