Summary
- U.S. Bank's llms.txt lists thousands of titled, described links, reaching checking, savings, and disclosure pages directly.
- Bank Smartly Checking and Safe Debit both spell out their fee and every waiver path as plain visible text with no scripts.
- An AI agent opened the Consumer Pricing Information PDF and read a complete, thirteen-page, effective-dated fee schedule for both checking accounts.
- Publishing the ABA routing number as text on its dedicated help page, information already public elsewhere, would close an easy gap.
U.S. Bank also appears in the Credit Cards study, where it scores 72 and ranks 13 of 25.

Task by task
Each task is scored out of 100 on completion, answer quality and how directly the answer was reached. Each note describes what the page delivered, with a link to the page the answer was found on.

Task 05Application pageArrives after scripts16 out of 100
The application link embedded on the Smartly Checking page serves a short JavaScript shell titled Digital Banking, with the funding and eligibility details appearing one page earlier rather than on this page itself.

Strengths and opportunities
What is working
- llms.txt is a large, genuinely curated agent index, thousands of titled and described links spanning nearly every product and disclosure page on the site, which is a real investment in agent-readable navigation.
- The Consumer Pricing Information PDF is a complete, well organized, effective-dated fee schedule that answers checking fee and waiver questions in one canonical document.
- Checking product marketing pages publish fees, waiver conditions, and product differentiators directly as plain HTML text, no script execution needed to read them.
- The routing-number help page, while it withholds the number itself, is genuinely well written and answers the underlying consumer question about what a routing number is and where to find one.
Opportunities
- Publish the ABA routing number as plain text on the public routing-number page. It is already public information available on many third-party sites, so serving it directly would close an easy gap.
- Give Bank Smartly Savings a static default APY in the delivered HTML, the way the Elite Money Market page already does, so the flagship savings product does not require ZIP code personalization to read a rate.
- Render a small server-side landing state on the account-opening application page with the funding and eligibility disclosures that already exist one page upstream, so a first plain GET is not an empty JavaScript shell.
Access
Every page the agent requested was delivered on the first attempt. An llms.txt file is published, which gives agent traffic a documented entry point.
